South Walton Compromises On Fire District
A South Walton public hearing produced a charter compromise to ensure fair representation in the proposed fire tax district. Voters from Phillips Inlet and other areas will elect trustees from three precincts plus two at large, with a May 23 hearing planned to finalize plans for a special election. Robert Martin was named committee chair.
