Big Boys Race Little Boats On Sunday Lake
On Sundays at Lake 98 across Wayside Park a group races radio controlled speed boats at 30 to 70 mph. Jim and Bruce Yates and Jesse Reeves lead enthusiasts building models from scratch and racing them, inviting newcomers and offering to build kits at cost. The group seeks official lake sanction to attract more participants and spectators.
