Homecoming memories and community notes at Point Washington
Peggy Bailer recalls Rev. Burlison's sermon and the old homecoming tradition at Point Washington Methodist Church. The writeup celebrates generous hospitality, local fashions, and small town life including Mary Blow's cleanup crew and the Lathams' new Sweetheart Shoppe. It also highlights art shows, family celebrations, a dune buggy business, kitchen tips, a shoe mishap, and Ford Motor Company anniversary with notes on Ford’s wages, profits sharing, and Willow Run wartime production.
