Destin Humana Hospital Groundbreaking Planned at 2 P.M.

Destin Humana Hospital will hold a 2 p.m. groundbreaking Sunday for its new 50-bed facility at 1000 Airport Road. DOT Puts Projects On List In Wider Phillips Inlet Bridge Plan

Florida DOT revives funding for area road work. A wider Phillips Inlet Bridge on U.S. 98 will replace the current span, about 2,000 feet long, adding safety lanes. The 4.5 mile U.S. 98 resurfacing between Destin and Fort Walton Beach costs 1.5 million dollars with work set for 1987-88. The five year plan also calls for a 1.1 mile four laning of U.S. 98 in South Walton, slated for 1988-89.
