Centel customers face rate hike after Southern Bell increase
Centel Florida officials announced a $113.4 million rate increase granted to Southern Bell by the Florida Public Service Commission effective July 4. Operator assisted interstate long distance charges rise notably from $1.17 to $2.50 for person to person calls and 70 to 75 cents for calling card station calls, with small changes to other rates.
