Florida Readies Fire Ant War with Amdro Treatment
Florida plans an aerial Amdro program to combat imported fire ants with landowner costs split 50 50 with the federal government paying the other half. Aerial treatment requires at least 40 acres, public lands eligible, with September start and a minimum $90 per application.
