Commission Approves Regs At Cypress Gardens Meeting
The Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission approved federally recommended rules on hunting in national wildlife refuges and migratory bird hunting. A postponed deer hearing for Loxahatchee NWR was ordered with a new hearing by Aug 18 and a final Commission decision planned after the hearing. The panel also adopted a protection policy for the endangered Florida panther and set a Sept. 2 meeting date.
