Visionaries Aid Blind Sew Through Specialized Tools
Jim Chitwood profiles the Northwest Florida Visionaries founded by John Hane in 1974. The volunteer group aids blind residents across 12 Panhandle counties by producing braille materials and audio books, providing braille on microwave dials, and creating raised relief campus maps. They recently opened a Fort Walton Beach building funded by donations to support these services.
