Deadline Set for Homestead Exemption Refiles in Okaloosa
Okaloosa County Property Appraiser warns 4700 homeowners who claimed the Homestead Exemption last year have not refiled this year. Refile by March 1 in person at the Shalimar Annex or Crestview Courthouse. Eligibility requires Florida residency as of January 1, 1983, title or equity in title, and residence on the property as of that date. Final notices mailed. no further mailings this year.
