County to remove signs blocking public right of way on Holiday Isle
Okaloosa County commissioners on Tuesday ordered the contractor McKee Corp to remove two parking signs installed along a public road on Holiday Isle. The board cited the signs as restricting public access to a county right of way and not an exclusive employee area. Engineering chief Dave Heinrich said the signs caused road damage and noted plans to reconstruct the road and build a cul de sac, while the public still may use the right of way to reach the undeveloped 1,600 feet.

A BOA variance for Harrold Sharon lowers a south side setback on Dolphin Street in Crystal Beach subdivision from 7 feet to 1 foot for a single family dwelling with carport.
