Resignations Shake Destin Kelly Center Board
Kelly Dearman says the board joined last fall before land transfer to the foundation, leaving a "cart full of architects" with no land to build on. Hannah Gray and others question the board's purpose until land deeds and a master plan succeed, while Mattie Kelly and Peter Bos push the project forward. The group cites contract disputes and momentum loss, but a few members stay hopeful that the center will still become a community asset with Cooper's forthcoming presentation.
