Tune In Warner Cable presents a slate of candidates for School Board and county commission tonight August 27 at 5 30 on channel 6. Destin City Council and District 5 state House of Natives will air tomorrow at the same time on the same channel.
Destin planners say K-Mart will hold a grand opening on October 8 in the local plaza. Big B Drugs plans a softer opening about one to two weeks earlier, with Winn-Dixie grocery set for November and a movie theater expected to follow.

The decision, citing spot zoning and traffic safety concerns from residents, sends the proposal to city council in September.
