Low bids named for East Pass dredging at Destin Harbor
The C F Bean Corp of New Orleans topped three Louisiana bids at 539 900 to handle maintenance dredging for East Pass and Destin Harbor entrance. Panama City official Alton Colvin said the government estimate was 766 222 50, with Bean proposing using the Buster Bean pipeline dredge and a 60 day completion window after award.

The Okaloosa County Commission approved three Destin projects including a 150 foot dock extension to Calhoun Drive along Chocowhatchee Bay and the first phase of the 130 unit Destin Pointe Resort on Holiday Isle.
