Apparent Low Bidder Named Weir Closure Start Dated September

South Shore Equipment Co of Avon Ohio was named apparent low bidder for the U S Army Corps of Engineers project to close the 1000 foot weir in East Pass west jetty. Bids ranged from 499772 to 1164800 with government estimates around 460988 to 576235 including profit. Colvin said award could go to top two low bidders after bid review with 150 days for completion.
