Sentencing Set for Destin Woman in Murder Case
Destin resident Mary Anne Adler, found guilty of second degree murder in the 1984 shooting death of her husband Joel Adler, faces 3 years to life in prison after a trial in which she claimed the death was accidental while the state argued he was killed as he prepared to leave after discovering her bad checks. Her sentencing is scheduled for Monday August 26 at 3 p.m. in Judge Jere Tolton's Shalimar Annex courtroom.
