Five Victims Bit by Rabid Pup in Bowden Family
Mrs W C Bowden and three female relatives plus a cook were bitten by a pup later declared rabid by Health Officer Dr Garrison. The attacks occurred Thursday to Saturday last week. The pup was killed and its head sent to Dr Rison for testing. results confirmed rabies. The victims were taken to Little Rock for treatment and precautionary care. Community sympathy is offered pending treatment outcomes.
