Mary Rush born in Virginia April 20, 1820, lived in Ohio and Cass County Indiana before settling in Denver and Adams township. She married Noble Plummer then Benjamin Grable, joined the Methodist church at sixteen, aided the Denver Ladies' Aid Society, raised four foster children, died September 3, 1911 aged 91 years, 4 months, 13 days. Funeral held at Perrysburg Methodist on Tuesday with Rev. S. A. Stuart. Interment Perrysburg Cemetery.

Close Call As Woman Barely Escapes Train
A Sunday evening near mishap on the south bound I. E and W excursion train left a woman clinging to the platform as the locomotive moved. She was thrown to the ground and saved from the wheels by A P Guise and another man who restrained her until the train halted. She suffered bruises but escaped serious injury in a miraculous escape.
