Ira Friend dies after long illness in town

Ira Friend longtime resident dies at his East Harrison home after months of illness with complex diseases. The funeral is Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with burial in I O O F cemetery. An obituary will follow in the next issue. A granddaughter Maye Boreson dies in Hammond after tuberculosis. she was not yet twenty two.

Box Social and Basket Ball Game at Deedsville High

The second Mexico High School Lecture Course event will be at the Mexico Methodist Church on Tuesday evening November 28 at eight. Daughter's Home Receives Ill Mrs. Black in Peru

Ira Friend Suffers Another Stroke and Declines

Ira Friend, long seriously ill, endured another stroke last Sunday and has remained unconscious since. Doctors fear he may not survive. he has had multiple strokes and has been in a helpless state for weeks.

Miami County Exhibits at Indiana Horticultural Show

A group from Miami county travels to Indianapolis for the Tenth Annual Exhibit of the Indiana Horticultural Society. Lorenzo V.
