The Rev. Edmund Heslop of Wigton Pennsylvania suffered dropsy with swollen limbs and heart fluttering. After using six boxes of Dodds Kidney Pills the swelling disappeared and he felt well again. He endorses the remedy and invites correspondence for free literature and music.

Ramsey arrested later at James Brown residence. trial expected in November. In Columbus on November 6 a case emerges of Charles Russell an orphan raised by John Russell a soldier. Indians killed the family leaving only a baby. the foster father rescued and reared the boy in Ohio then moved to Bartholomew county where Charles is now sixty five.
A St Louis resident describes relief after using Cuticura Soap and Ointment for five years of severe itching and dandruff on scalp and body. He reports hair loss stopped within a month and no sleep disruption, endorsing Cuticura for shaving and skin relief.
Mrs. Mary Ann Moore age ninety two died at her son in law Edward H. Smith's home in Vincennes She was a daughter of John Caldwell a Revolutionary soldier and widow of John Moore who after the War of 1812 became a jurist and one of Vincennes earliest mayors.
Rushville police arrested William Hodgins a colored man on the charge of selling his vote to a Republican worker. An affidavit by Harry Mull Democrat details the case. Also reported a man Christian Kloindehn 45 leaped into the Niagara River at Prospect Point and went over the American Falls.
French Lick November 6 Mrs. EB 5 Cross aged sixty five years died at Cross Cave. Cross was formerly an actress and performed with Edwin Booth. She leaves two daughters.
Shelbyville reports Harvey Chap pelow nineteen injured with a fractured skull after a quarrel with Thomas Hogan over Mrs Hogan with authorities unsure of outcome. Jeffersonville notes many voters were disfranchised under a registration law in effect on November 8.
Osgood George Foster shot himself in the neck while cleaning a revolver and is not expected to survive. Newcastle two new school buildings opened for the first time. French Lick thieves stole a diamond stud and ring valued at $500. Bedford farmer Thomas McDowell broke left arm and right leg after a fall from a hickory tree. Evansville Amelia Laupert struck blind after diphtheria. Elwood Christian church begins forty five day industrial revival with ten evangelists. Vincennes Kathleen C Hamfton files limited divorce from Robert J Hamilton. Muncie Carey E Taughinbaugh convicted of embezzlement, out on recognizance pending new trial. Brazil Hadleytown suburbs alarmed by smallpox after a girl travels from Jasonville. Jeffersonville William B Long, former resident, breaks hip in Philadelphia, condition doubtful. Noblesville Etta Long, cousin of Senator John D Works, obtains divorce from William Long over religious differences. Columbus Roy W Emig, Red Men sagamore, to stage a musical comedy in December.
