John Robbins died at his sister Mrs Shumire's home on Wednesday morning May 18 after a long illness from consumption. A bright, promising young man he bore his suffering with patience and readiness to go. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the M E Church under the auspices of the Knights of Pythias, of which he was an active member. Rev J M Baker will deliver the funeral discourse.
At the M E parsonage in Denver on Tuesday evening 3 ird 1898 by Rev J M Baker Mr Charles A Raver and Miss Ida Mae Darnett both of this place. Shene young people are too well and favorably known to need any commendation from us and have a host of friends here who join the Trans in wishing them a happy and prosperous married life. The happy couple left Wednesday morning for North Dakota where they expect to walk their future home.

Samuel Raber, a well known and highly respected pioneer of Union township, died at his home near Perrysburg after a long illness. He suffered intensely until death. The funeral services were held at the Wesaw church on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o clock.
