Cordelia Gaston born in Pennsylvania March 11, 1848. Departed this life May 4, 1921 at Perrysburg Indiana, aged 73 years 1 month 20 days, survived by daughter Mrs Omer Yoder and five other children including William H. and Joseph B. Two children died in childhood. Married Daniel A. Sunday in 1870. The family moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio in childhood.

James E Butt born in Montgomery County in 1837 died aged 83 years 5 months 12 days. Survived by wife Margaret Coyar Butt eight children of whom six are living Asrom Plank Viola Berger Nettie Murphy Marietta Zinmerman Sarah Keim and Tra E Butt. He served in Indiana Volunteer Infantry Company KK 155 in 1865. Funeral at Ebenezer May 4 conducted by Rev Park with interment in Denver Cemetery alongside his wife.

Olive O Bish born July 14 1849 near Chili Indiana died April 80 1921 in Chili She was one of ten children of William and Christina Bish married Thomas Endsley in 1872 four children born two died Charles and Eugene survive in Chili Widowed after 1886 married William Murphy in 1908 who died in 1913 She joined the Methodist Episcopal church as a child and lived a life of Christian service leaving three grandchildren and many friends.

The Miami County Tuberculosis Society and Associated Charities join Tri Kap pa Sorority and the Tuberculosis Society to host a market at Mrs Aver’s home, 114 East 6th St, May 8. Proceeds, about $215 last year, fund school and home care with Mrs P J Bauer coordinating field and school nurse activities. Donations may be made by calling Main 1991J.

Richard K. Butt died Monday at his daughter’s home near Ebenezer after a brief pneumonia illness. He had lived in Denver for years, returning to the area after his wife’s death about ten years ago. Six children survive. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer Church and burial followed at Denver cemetery.

Denver High School Graduates Two In Final Year
The Denver High School completed its term with a Tuesday junior reception and Wednesday commencement at the Denver Brethren Church. Two pupils, Ocle Snyder and Joseph Miller, finished the high school course from a freshman class of fourteen. The event likely marks the last Denver graduation before the school moves to a new building in Mexico next year. Henry Noble Sherwood of Franklin College gave the class address urging continued study and preparation for life. Music was provided by the Denyer Orchestra.
