Deaths of Rosanah Fouts and Young Raymond Williamson
Rosanah Fouts of Logansport died last Saturday morning at her sister Mary Williamson's home. Within hours Lester Williamson died of typhoid fever. Both were brought to Denver for funeral services at the Courter church conducted by Rev. Miller. Interment followed in Courter cemetery. Rosanah, born February 18, 1829 in Preble County Ohio, was 72 years old. Raymond Williamson, son of Sylvester and Mary Williamson, born May 28, 1895, died April 27, 1901 aged 5 years, 10 months, and 29 days.

Passenger and Freight Wreck at Lafayette on Wabash Line
A late night collision in Lafayette involved Wabash fast mail train No 5 and a switch engine in yards. Engineer John Seible and fireman Geo B Lantz suffered serious injuries, with Seible unconscious. Fireman was crushed, both legs broken. Brakeman John Bush was killed aboard the caboose. Injured were taken to St Elizabeth hospital. Typewriter paper for sale at the Tribune office.
