Earhart's Runaway Horse Injures John Earhart Near Denver

John Earhart suffered cuts and bruises after a horse led by an L. E. W. train bolted near the Newell farm in South Denver. He was knocked unconscious, dragged about a hundred feet, and later treated by Dr. Newell for head injuries and a badly sprained arm.

Birthday celebration for Grandma Woolley 87th in East Denver

Mrs. Della Gustin and Grandma Woolley hosted a Sunday birthday party at their East Denver home honoring Grandma Woolley on her 87th birthday. Guests included Mrs. S. C. Norris and George Woolley of Culver, Ed Woolley and family of Peru, F E M Moody and wife with granddaughter Keturah of Deedsville, and George Kessler and family of Denver. A noon dinner followed the enjoyable family gathering.

At their pretty home near Mexico, Mr and Mrs Walter Bond celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sunday with a fine dinner. Guests included Mr and Mrs Charles Simons and Lee Fisher of Denver, Dr Rendel and wife, and Webster Edwards and wife of Mexico.

Friend Injured In Amboy Train Accident

Ransford Friend son of Andrew Friend and former Denver resident was badly hurt at Amboy on Saturday evening. While boarding the Panhandle train with his wife and two children he slipped from the hand rail and fell between the cars and platform. He was found unconscious, then revived and taken home for treatment. A deep gash on the back of his head and multiple bruises were reported, with recovery anticipated. The child escaped with minor injuries.

Obituary: William H. Stover 1841 1913 In Cass County Indiana

William Harvey Stover born March 6 1841 in Franklin County Virginia died April 18 1913 at age 72. He moved to Cass County Indiana in 1846 with his parents and remained there. He married Rebecca Gregory in 1870 and they had two children Benjamin F and Silias D. He is survived by his wife two children one brother Adison Stover of Henry County Indiana and one half brother Charley Kingrey of Twelve Mile. He has three grandchildren.

William Snyder Dies After Long Illness in Denver

William Snyder dies Wednesday at his South Denver home after a lingering illness from complications. He was about sixty three, a Denver resident of about fifty years, and leaves a wife and three daughters.

Trial Postponed for Denver Youths in Shafer Case

The trial of Denver young men charged by Charley Shafer was postponed from last Thursday to next Friday. Constable Iff was in Denver Monday to subpoena witnesses. The delay came after Mr Shafer did not appear against the boys Thursday.
