Editor Leaves Western Paper for Neutral Life

A California editor of a western newspaper, living between a Methodist church and a dance hall, witnessed a church meeting and dance. He noted the confusing pageant of prayers and calls to join hands and promenade in a circle. He grew saddened by village degeneracy and joined a baseball club to remain neutral.
