No American Prisoners Held by Insurgents Reported

Fog Causes Deadly Collision With Freight Trains
A heavy fog over Chicago caused a rear end collision between two Burlington freight trains at Blue Island avenue. One man died Herman Schomberg five years old and two others were injured John Dwyalin and August Turnegessy. Dwyalin had crushed legs and internal injuries while Turnegessy suffered a dislocated shoulder and a head wound and was hospitalized.
