Miss Myra Armantrout and Melvin Krisher wed Friday evening at the bride’s parents home in Courter. Rev Irvin Fisher of Mexico performed the ceremony witnessed by both families. The Krisher family near Center Chapel and the Armantrout family of Courter extend best wishes for a happy life together.
William Sprankle of Peru and Pauline Coulter of near Denver slipped away last week to St Joe Michigan for a quiet wedding. Sprankle works as an engineer on the L I W railroad with Peru headquarters. The couple plan a brief visit with Sprankle's parents in the south before setting up housekeeping in Peru. Best wishes are extended by the Tribune and many friends.
The Methodist Ladies Aid Society was postponed from Wednesday of this week to Wednesday March 0th because of J. S. Milliran’s funeral held yesterday. The Aid meets with Mrs G W Musselman and assistants Mrs Charles Simons and Mrs E S Waymire.
Saturday morning John O Blenis attempted to start a fire with coal oil pouring it upon live coals caused a violent explosion. He suffered severe burns to his face and hands at his East Denver residence.
A series of revival services will start Monday evening March 8 at 7 15 led by Pastor Rev A and Gloyd at Denver Baptist Church. The church asks every Christian in the community to assist in saving souls.

J I Milliron aged about 81 died Monday at nine after brief illness from pneumonia and artery hardening. A longtime Denver store operator and later owner of the Denver Livery Barn he was born August 12 1834 in Lewisburg Pa. He married Mary Piper September 14 1854 and had five children Emma Will Harriet Lilie Clara with Emma and Lilie predeceasing. Survived by wife three children and many relatives burial in Denver I O O F Cemetery following funeral at family home Wednesday.
The Dawalt carpenter crew works on South Yorick Street residences owned by L. C. Dukes and Noble B. Hunt. Dukes reconfigures interior partitions and doors while Hunt adds a bedroom and reworks windows and doors. An addition rises at the Denver Telephone Company central building on West Harrison Street.
At a Sunday service the Epworth League of the Denver Methodist Church carried out a full re organization. Twenty eight members signed as active and four as associate, with others expressing intent to join.
The Denver Telephone Co appoints Jess Miller to fill the vacant Trouble and Repairman position following Scott Whitmore's resignation. Miller began his duties at the start of this month.
Last Saturday Claude Murphy moved his family from the Ings Fouts farm southwest of Denver to the Chili area two and a half miles north, a purchase he recently made. An accident occurred when a team owned by Mrs. Murphy's brother ran away with a wagon loaded with furniture and dishes, causing over 300 dollars in damage. Also that day W. W. Sellers moved from Foster Long farm east of Denver to the Fouts farm he rented, bringing him closer to Denver. the Murphy family will leave the community. The vacant place is filled by Robert Powell near Ebenezer, who plans to move this week.
Dr Griswold of Peru joined Dr Waymire in Denver on Tuesday to discuss Arthur Guyer who remains seriously ill with pneumonia and gall bladder infection. Guyer had shown improvement but worsened again, with Dr Van Gundy of Penn present. No major change in his condition as press time. friends hope for recovery.
Billy Lee of West Washington Street shows gradual improvement after a severe attack of double pneumonia, with health trending upward and recovery steps underway.
Sam Clingerman relocated his family from the Ira Eikenberry farm south of Denver to West Denver last Thursday. He plans to drive a Beyer Bros cream wagon this summer and will begin his route as soon as he buys a team.
