Raber Erects Modern 40x50 Bank Barn West of Town

John Raber a Rural Route 22 carrier builds a large 40 by 50 foot bank barn on his farm two miles west of town. Timber was sawed earlier this season and carpenters have nearly completed the modern structure in the past week.

Mrs Will Robbins Dead In Denver Home

Mrs Will Robbins died Saturday morning about seven at her daughter Mrs Ross McHenry’s home after months of tuberculosis. She was brought from St Paul Minnesota to her Denver old home, despite care by husband and children. F K Baber Dies After Operation in Huntington

F K Baber died Friday morning after meningitis followed an operation for general sepsis at Huntington hospital. He had lived near Roann and Denver Indiana, ran Pettysville and later Denver stores, and is survived by his wife, three daughters Beatrice Edythe Alma, and two sons Matthew and Earl. Funeral services were held at the Denver Baptist Church with burial north of Roann.

Deedsville July Fourth Celebration Preview

Deedsville will hold a Fourth of July event with a band and booster caravan passing through Denver. Florence Smiley Robbins aged 47 years 1 month 7 days died in Denver Indiana after illness including pneumonia and tuberculosis. Born May 17 1869 in Marshall County Indiana she married M W Robbins May 19 1888 and had seven children Catie Clinton John Tide Robert Blanche and Paul. two sons and one daughter died in infancy. She leaves a husband two sons two daughters eight grandchildren a sister Mrs Harrison Kerns Detroit and many relatives. She embraced Christ in her last illness and found peace with God.
