Children’s Day Service a Success at M. HK. church

The Children's Day service at the M. HK church last Sunday evening was a great success from start to finish. The hoop drill by the girls and the flag drill by the boys drew wide praise, with many approving expressions noted. The training by the ladies over the preceding two weeks was highly commended.

Thomas G Stevenson born May 15 1825 in Preble County Ohio united in marriage to Euphema Crosby Oct 2 1843. He preached revival and served as local preacher for the Methodist church. Father of ten, five preceded him in death. After fifty six years blind he died peacefully entering heaven. Funeral at Ebeneezer conduct by Rev W K Murry with interment nearby. Relatives and friends and neighbors invited.
