The Friend Reunion Third Annual Descendants Meet
The third annual reunion of William Friend’s descendants gathered Sunday in Whitmore’s grave. 125 relatives attended and elected Ira Friend as president, Andrew Friend as vice president, C If Grimes as secretary, with Frank Baker, Jacob Richardson and W F Newbolt on the arrangement committee. Next year’s gathering will be the third Sunday in June.
