Mark Morrow of Hoovers and Lee and Amos Misher fished at Mud Lake last Saturday reporting excellent success.
Commencement exercises for Jefferson township graduates were held Tuesday evening at the Baptist church. By seven the streets were crowded and the decorated church seated many attendees. The eight graduates, led by Dara Grimes with Trustee Overly and Superintendent Ambrews, recited scripture and prayer. Papers were read with some omissions, and music earned high praise for its quality. The event was praised as a notable success due to the efforts of Trustee Overly and his committee.
The groom Uly Long of this place and Rose Warner of Teedaville were married at My E. Patsene in Denver on a Sunday evening June 13th 187. The pastor J. M. Hayer officiated. They will reside on the groom’s farm at Woolftown and begin housekeeping at once. The couple are praised as an exemplary pair and well regarded by friends.
