Jefferson township graduates hold commencement at Baptist church

Commencement exercises for Jefferson township graduates were held Tuesday evening at the Baptist church. By seven the streets were crowded and the decorated church seated many attendees. The eight graduates, led by Dara Grimes with Trustee Overly and Superintendent Ambrews, recited scripture and prayer. Papers were read with some omissions, and music earned high praise for its quality. The event was praised as a notable success due to the efforts of Trustee Overly and his committee.
