Temperance victory in Kokomo closes eight saloons
In Kokomo the temperance supporters win again against the saloon element in the third and fourth wards, closing eight more saloons. A remonstrance lists thirteen names, including the correspondent. The court sustains the commissioners, with no invalid names. A higher court appeal is considered unlikely. L. L. Buck and daughter Ruth visited friends in Defiance and Perrysburg over Sunday.
