It then recounts Samuel Taylor Coleridge recounting a 13 year old desire to be a shoemaker and a harsh flogging that supposedly cured his early infidelity, with moral reflections.

Evidence showed she bought furniture for 1200 and insured for 2000, paying 300 and pursuing 1000 more, with two prior suspicious fires and a final blaze destroying the hotel and nearby structures worth 15000.
