The Semi annual Miami County Sunday School Association meeting held May 31 to June 1 1906 in Denver Indiana opened with W M Fisher of Mexico presiding. Rev J F Rake and Mrs Mary Howes led choirs as 30 voice chorus sung and junior groups performed. Edgar P Kling of Peru addressed on The Study of the Bible with insight and humor. J T Arm itague of Peru spoke on How to Make the Sunday School a Success followed by talks on lessons from the Great Teacher Systematic giving and new methods in primary work by C H Black. Afternoon sessions featured Rev Harry Nyce of Peru on What happens to him who meets Christ and a Round Table discussion. Marian Marion Ohio items announced the next convention June 19 21 1906 in Peru. The gathering closed with The Tie that Binds and benediction by Rev Rake.

Ten popular Denver women met at Miss Ohma Smiths home Friday evening to organize the Fluer de lis Club.
