Death of W. W. Kirby After Illness at Barn
W. W. Kirby became ill Tuesday evening while helping at the barn and was carried home. Dr. Piper and Dr. Eikenberry diagnosed appendicitis and summoned Dr. Rannells from Indianapolis and a nurse. Kirby died at noon Thursday after swift medical efforts, leaving a respected, upright figure in the community.
