John Arnest died Monday from injuries suffered Saturday while supervising a barn raise at the Cripe farm three miles northwest of Denver. A guy rope on the pole broke, the pole fell twice, breaking four ribs and causing internal injuries. He leaves a wife and one child. funeral was in Mexico with interment in Mexico cemetery.

Obituary of Gailard H Piper Aged 2 in Denver Indiana
Gailard Harry Piper son of Mrs. H M Piper was born in Denver Indiana November 30 1905 and died at his grandparents home in St Louis Michigan June 24 1908 aged 2 years 6 months 24 days. Funeral services were held in Denver at Mrs Piper’s former home on Saturday at two o clock conducted by Rev Lutey and Rev Rake. Interment followed at the LOOF cemetery.
