Bold Robbery Plot and City Bank Bomb Blast Reported

A bomb shattered the front of Pasquale A Path & Son bank on Elizabeth Street in New York City exposing 40000 in silver and gold. Salvatore Fati was wounded guarding the money as assumed amateurs fled into the crowd. The report also notes a Cronkfield Missouri account of Dr W E Carter being assaulted for a wife beating confession and a Baltimore fire at J Regester & Sons where four firemen were killed and fifteen injured.

Woman Kills Woman in Chicago Dispute Over a Penny

In Chicago Mrs. Grace Garswick shot and fatally wounded Mrs. Mary Maloney after a quarrel over a 25 cent claim tied to the Maloney's 2-year-old son. Garswick fled and was chased for a mile before capture. she later returned and fired again, wounding Mrs. Maloney in the abdomen.
