Greenfield Robbery Suspect Hunted After Allegeed Attack
William Griffith, described as twenty five, one eyed, short and heavyset, is sought for an alleged robbery of Jose Bridges near Greenfield Indiana. Bridges says Griffith demanded money and a bank check for 266 dollars, then struck him and fled after a struggle in which Bridges grabbed the revolver and Griffith left town. The revolver reportedly belonged to Ray Hutton and was borrowed for hunting. Descriptions have been circulated to Indianapolis and other authorities.
