The two youngest daughters of B Guyer were badly burned by fireworks on Sunday. their faces and clothing were seriously damaged but they are recovering nicely.

Death of Mary A. Stanley at Nat Stanley’s home
Mary A. Stanley, about 60, died Saturday afternoon January 15 after a long illness. She had stayed with her half-brother Nat Stanley for several months and was not well known to most locals. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Baker at Shiloh church north of Raann, with interment in the nearby cemetery.
