Stowman Visits Colfax with Daughter and Family
D C Stowman left Saturday for Colfax where he visited over Sunday with his daughter Mrs Bert Goff and family. Little Miss Louise Gott, here a week as guest of her grandparent Par Edia, returned home with him. Stowman accompanies her to Logansport to visit son Charles before returning home. Reception for Soldiers in Chili honors returning service men

Dwight Victor Hammond 1896 1919 Obituary
Dwight Victor Hammond son of Daniel V and Josephine A Hammond died in New Castle Indiana after influenza at age 22 years 4 months and 26 days. He was baptized at eleven and lived a patient kind life. His body was returned to Chili for funeral services conducted by Rev White and burial in Chili Cemetery.

Fred Borger suffers broken arm after hay mow fall
Fred Borger fifteen year old son of Mr and Mrs Albert Borger living near Deedsvilla fell from a hay mow on Wednesday evening last week injuring his left arm at the wrist. He was taken to Denver where Dr E S Waymire treated the fracture. Recovery will take several weeks and the boy is fortunate no worse injuries occurred.
