John Wesley Stuber Dies of Cancer at 55
John Wesley Stuber, 55, a well known Perry township farmer, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday at Dukes Memorial Hospital Peru after being stricken at home northeast of Ebenezer church. He is survived by his widow Flora Edith Cunningham Stuber and many children, plus three brothers and a sister. Funeral arrangements had not been announced.

Mrs Louisa Griswold widow of Daniel Griswold died at the family home in Mexico Sunday at 12:30 PM after two years of illness due to heart trouble. Born Cass County May 2 1836 she was 86 years 10 months 9 days. Surviving are John and Cassius of Mexico George of Peru Edward and Emma of Mexico and May Flora of Elkhart. Funeral Tuesday at 2:30 PM at the Methodist church in Mexico with Rev C F Davidson of Rochester assisted by Rev Irvin Fisher and Rev Trout. Burial Greenlawn Cemetery.
