Lon Han died suddenly on Monday night from organic heart disease after a day of normal activity. He leaves wife and three daughters Elsie Gladys Mildred. Funeral services are planned for today at 9 45 am at the home and 11 am in Deedsville with burial in Deedsville cemetery. The community offers sympathy to his grieving family.
Mrs. I. N. Hurst known as Grandma Hurst passed away at her Southeast Denver home yesterday morning after months of illness. The obituary lauds her patience and fidelity to truth and faith, noting visions of a heavenly life that gave guidance. Funeral arrangements had not been completed at press time.
The Baptist Missionary Society will meet with Mrs. O Bleins on Wednesday afternoon December 14 at two o'clock. All interested are cordially invited.

Walter Lee and family were honored with a large gathering of friends at their north of town home last Friday evening. Miss Alverna Lee played organ with Carl Lee on violin as guests enjoyed music and singing. Attendees included Rev. Tacoma and wife, Henry Lewis and wife, Levi Armantrout and wife, Oliver Armantrout and wife, Mrs. Almedia Medsker and about twenty to twenty five young friends of the See children. The See family is moving to the Isaac Myers farm near New Waverly, a move viewed as a gain for the neighborhood and church.

Dillman heirs to Jos Miller 40 acres south of Denver for 8000. Lamaree Admr to Jos Long 59 acres east of Denver for 1850. Fretz to Ettice Fret Lots 213-214 and 42 acres at Deedsville for 4000.

Miss Lois Kline visited Miss Oakley Wyatt of Peru from Sunday to Tuesday. Anna and Mildred Gustin attended a Box Social in Deedsville Friday night. McCaffreys in Peru sell blankets and lap robes. A crowd near Walter Lee’s home enjoyed an Monday night social with oysters.
