Gage of near Erie spent Thursday evening with his parents, B. E B. Gage and wife. Mr. and Mrs. John Crumpacker of Kokomo attended the funeral of Mrs. Upton Friend. They will stay a few days. Mrs. Albert Berger of Roann, and Mesdames George See and Sarah Berger west of town, spent last Friday with William See and family. Moon Ancestry and Final Years Mark Ohio Born Obituary
M H Moon son of William and Emily Moon born Clinton county Ohio October 17 1829 died Guthrie Ky November 28 1906 aged 77 years 1 month and 11 days. He married Eliza A Moore October 17 1850 and had twelve children ten sons and two daughters all survive him except one. A later marriage to Mrs Mary A York produced a daughter who with the mother survives. He leaves a wife twelve children fifty five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was a member of the Weasaw Baptist church under Rev E J Delph and died with faith in salvation. The funeral was conducted by Rev J F Rake. The remains were taken to his son Grant Moon’s home Thursday evening.

Macie Bell Strong, born Akron Indiana November 18 1877, died Peru Indiana December 3 1906 aged 29 15. She married Upton A Friend of Denver Indiana December 4 1894 and had four children, two preceding her in death. She joined Wesseyian Methodist church about a year ago and had a Living Faith. Elder Irvin Fisher conducted funeral at the Baptist church yesterday at 1 pm. Interment in nearby cemetery. Text James 4:14.

Much Surprised Band Boys draw huge crowd at Masquerade
