Verle Andrews, about two miles south of Denver, marked his 20th birthday with a surprise party last Tuesday evening. About a dozen relatives helped celebrate while he was lured to Denver. Uninvited guests assembled and the scene was complete with oysters, pie, and cake.
Notifies all parties who acknowledge indebtedness to Grant Moon to call and settle immediately, urging prompt payment and resolution of outstanding balances.
A red sow weighing about 200 pounds was found two miles north of Denver in a corn field. The owner may reclaim the animal by paying for the corn and providing proof of ownership. A woman was noted as the owner. Frank Wiedenhoeft seeks re election as Supervisor for District No. 1 and urges votes for or against him at the poles. Nearby in Perrysburg, O F Cool celebrated his 60th birthday with a surprise gathering organized by about fifty friends and neighbors, featuring a fine supper.
A brief notice states there will be no change in tribune office management and that staff will be in the office at work as usual. Patrons are invited to call at any time.

At the home of Mrs Anna Guyer Verna L Guyer and Charles W Robbins wed Wednesday Nov 27 in Marion Rev A Pickerill officiating. Attended by Myrtle Richardson Roy Guyer relatives from Logansport Marion Indianapolis Rochester Port Erie honored guests from Macy Peru and more. Later dinner and gifts noted with congratulations extended. Also William Tharp and wife hosted a dinner for their son Frank and Miss Almeda Murphy at the ME parsonage in Macy Thanksgiving eve. Immense feast praised. guests included JP Tharp Mrs Milton Tharp George Mohler and others. Della Lacey and Lewis H Dice quietly wed Thanksgiving day at the bride’s parents home with Rev H Lacey officiating.
Card of thanks expresses gratitude to friends and neighbors for help during illness and death of their mother. Signed by Mr and Mrs M W Robbins.
Sunday School starts at 9 30. Preaching at 10 30 by the pastor. Junior League at 2 30 pm. Epworth League at 6 pm. Choir rehearsal Saturday evening. Intermediate League Saturday at 6 30 pm.

Obituary notices report William M Smith born March 15 1855 Hudson Summit County Ohio died December 1 1907 near Denver Indiana aged 52 years 9 months 16 days. He cared for his mother and stepfather and left a strong community and family legacy with a simple moral motto. Funeral at home west of town conducted by Rev J Rake and interment in LOOF cemetery. Also obituary for Rachel Sweveland born March 28 1828 died November 27 1907 in Denver aged 79 years 7 months 29 days. She married Jacob A Smiley in 1849. three daughters Mrs Isaac Sellers Mrs Harrison Kern and Wes William Robbins survive her along with brothers Henry Swovelane Princeton and Franklin Swove Excerior Sprow Missouri and sisters Esther Fouts Macy Sarah Lewis and Nanes Mo Princeton Missouri. Burial at Anakin nearby after German Baptist church services by Elder Irvin Fisher. Mexten notes large sympathy and expresses condolences.
Miss Ola Hayes sister of Mrs PM Smith died Saturday morning at her sister's home after a few weeks illness. Funeral services were held in the Baptist church Tuesday at two o'clock conducted by Rev Irvin Wisher of Mexico. Hayes worked at the telephone exchange and was loved for her sweet disposition. she will be greatly missed by relatives and friends.
