Miss Mary Alderfer hosted a Thursday evening party at Payson Street to honor Edna Wheeler of Walcott Ind. The group enjoyed games music and social chat with drop hand game and selections by Edna Wheeler and Claudia Wright followed by ice cream and cake before departures late evening.

Lilian Almira Cass Johnson born November 13 1875 near Noblesville Indiana died November 25 1913 at home near Denver Indiana aged 88 years 12 days. She joined Wesleyan Church at 17 and taught Sabbath school. She graduated Westfield High School 1893 and married Perry Johnson November 13 1893, producing three children two of whom died in infancy. After moving to Denver she joined the Baptist Church for six years. She leaves a husband a daughter Bessie and a half brother and a sister with many relatives and friends.
