Mrs Anson Williams reports her son Leroy Williams arrived in San Francisco on July 20 after serving in the U S Army in the Philippines. He has been transferred to the states to complete about two years of service and expects a short furlough at home soon.

Richard C Skinner Dies at 77 in Cass County
Richard C Skinner, once of Denver, died July 30 1905 at his son Charles Skinner’s near Twelve Mile after valvular heart trouble. He helped found Skinner's Chapel in 1847 and leave a legacy as a pioneer farmer and devout Christian. He is survived by his wife two sons a foster daughter four grandchildren and a foster grandson. Funeral services were held at Skinner's Chapel with Rev. Samuel McNeely officiating.
