A Detroit investor named Green plans to open a bank in Denver leasing the former post office building from P. M. Smith. The project aims for completion by early September and is expected to boost Denver’s population and business, drawing further growth and strong local support.
The Enterprise picnic last Saturday drew a solid crowd despite farmers busy cutting oats. Schools and singing groups from Pawpaw Niconza Pea Ridge Gilead Emanuel and Olive Branch performed well, with the Enterprise school praised for its singing while one speaker drew mixed reactions, making the day memorable.

Jefferson Township in Miami County holds its annual meeting to approve the Advisory Board's estimates for the year. The proposed expenditures include township and road taxes, local tuition and library costs, and various school related charges totaling 5237.91 with a total tax of 66 cents per hundred dollars, signed July 31, 1900 by Trustee H. M. Overry.
