The sixteenth annual meeting of the Women’s Baptist Missionary Conference of the Logansport Association was held at the Baptist Church. Morning reports and business followed by Our Organizations talk by Mrs. Frank Bryant. Miss Mary Ann Ulagett a Japan missionary gave the afternoon address with Miss Myrtle Huckleberry also on the program. Delegations from Logansport Rochester and smaller association towns attended.

Robbins Home Burns Near Ebenezer
The farm residence of Valentine Robbins near Ebenezer burned last Thursday afternoon. Discovered around 3 o clock the blaze spread despite efforts to control it aided by neighbors. A straw stack also burned due to high winds. Cause unknown though an overheated chimney is suspected. The frame house had recently been remodeled. Loss totals several thousand dollars with partial insurance coverage.

Fifty prizes ranged from 200 to 10 dollars, with top awards to ticket A-697833 for 200 dollars and A-502028 for 100 dollars. remaining prizes included many 25 and 10 dollar awards. By noon Monday about half the prizes had been claimed and paid. Ticket holders should bring their tickets to J.
