Pleasant Surprise Honors Ohma Smith Birthday
Mr and Mrs Joseph Smith entertained on Harrison street Friday evening in honor of daughter Ohma Smiths birthday. A large group of young people joined the surprise and Ohma hosted with music by Miss Goldie Fouts. A two course lunch followed along with flowers pictures toilet articles and bonbons as gifts.

Longtime Wayne County Native Michael N Tayior Dies at 94
Michael N Tayior born February 7 1814 in Wayne County Ohio died March 27 1908 in Denver aged 94 years 1 month and 20 days He was among Wayne County’s first settlers later farmed in Wayne and Wabash counties before moving to Richland Township Miami County then Denver He married Nancy Brown in 1835 producing five children two daughters and three sons surviving him along with a sister and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren He joined the Methodist Episcopal Church about sixty years ago and received support from his granddaughter Alma Norris in his later years

The service Sunday at ten in the ME church remembered a local resident with many relatives present. Rev J F Lutey led the ceremony. burial followed in Chili cemetery.
