At a Denton Rotary Club meeting the town’s primary and high school faculty were entertained with music from Thomas Baynard and Irvin Smith Jr. The guest speaker was Frank M. Cline of Salisbury, secretary and manager of the Del Marva Credit Bureau, who spoke witfully.
Mayor Broening urged closer cooperation between Maryland's Eastern and Western Shores in a Denton luncheon talk with Kent Queen Anne's Caroline and Talbot county officials. He argued a bridge across the bay would aid eastern shore growth, attract settlers, and strengthen Baltimore city ties as Robb and Jackson accompanied him on a two day Kent Queen Anne s Caroline Talbot county tour concluding in St Michaels.
