Legion Auxiliary Visits Perry Point Hospital
The American Legion Auxiliary Caroline Unit No 29 with several Legion members visited Perry Point Veterans Hospital on Sunday October 18 from 2 to 4 pm at Club Chesapeake. They served donuts coffee and peanuts and played ping pong shuffleboard and games with the veterans. Attendees included Mrs Fred Brown Mrs Lester Love Mrs William Beers Mrs David Swecker Miss Margaret Brown Mr Paul Shoemaker Mr and Mrs Harry Jopp and Mr and Mrs Hamilton Hallowell. The visit is an annual event inviting public support for the hospital boys.
